Q: What is DCP?

Q: Does Disney relocate people from out of state or out of the county?
A: Disney accepts resumes from anywhere in the world. Disney hires and relocates based on business need.
Q: What's the interview process like at DCP?
A: The interview process can vary depending on the position. Generally, the recruiter will contact the candidate and speak with him/her on the phone. Then, the candidate will come into the office to meet with the recruiter and the interview team from the business. Sometimes a decision is made after one round of interviews. At other times, the candidate will come back to the office to meet additional people from the business. The candidate is notified once the outcome of the interview is determined.
Q: What happens to my resume when I send it in?
A: The resume is entered into our applicant tracking database, where it is immediately available to all DCP recruiters.
Q: How will I know if Disney has received my resume?
A: You'll receive a card in the mail notifying you that the resume has been received and scanned into our system.
Q: Should I apply for more than one job at a time?
A: If you are interested in more than one job, you may send in more than one resume. However, please note that the most recent resume is the one that remains in the system. If you are interested in a job outside of Disney Consumer Products, you will need to submit your resume separately for that position; there are other HR departments that recruit for jobs outside of Disney Consumer Products.
Q: Is there a dress code at Disney?
A: There is no official dress code for Disney Consumer Products. However, most employees wear business casual attire. Please note that formal business attire is recommended for interviewing for a position within the Company.

Q: Does Disney offer commuter assistance?
A: Southern California employees who live a considerable distance from work may be eligible to ride to work in a van pool. Van Pools are available in various locations throughout the surrounding Los Angeles area. Employees can earn points redeemable for Disney Store Gift Certificates, Disney Dollars, or a Payroll Redemption Option. Employees earn two points each day that they carpool, bicycle, walk, or ride public transportation to work. They also can earn points by telecommuting, working a compressed week or riding in a vanpool, in departments where those options are viable.
